Public council planning registers. FurrowLead checks the councils’ own planning portals every weeknight and collects the new applications for you.
No. Private householders’ names aren’t shown. You get the agent or architect’s business contact details, and contact goes through them.
Here’s why. Homeowners are private individuals. The council publishes their names so neighbours can comment on the plans, not so firms can market to them. Ringing, texting or emailing a homeowner off a planning register risks breaking UK data protection and marketing rules (UK GDPR and PECR), and it’s you who’d be in the firing line.
The agent or architect is a business, already working for the homeowner, and is usually the one who puts the job out to price. So they’re the right person to call anyway.
Yes. FurrowLead scans every council planning authority across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, 376 councils scanned nightly. Pick a county and you get every council in it.
Now and again a council’s planning website goes down or changes. When that happens the app flags that council, so you know why it’s gone quiet, and the next scan catches up on anything it missed.

We work in groundworks and construction. We started FurrowLead because we got fed up trawling council websites at night and paying big subscriptions to the data firms. Read why we built it.
